I was never trained to do so, being my dad an artist must have had something to do with my natural skills for drawing... Or the many hours my mum spent with me drawing princesses when I was only a few years old... But, what is clear to me is that nothing in life comes with no effort and, most of the time, hard work pays off. In my teenage years, I discovered the joy of portrait drawing, and ever since I practiced, and practiced and practiced, becoming better with every finished portrait and working on the smallest details for longer hours. This has led me where I am today, trying to make a living out of my passions (science & art), for which I worked very hard, and for which I'll continue to do so โ€” entrepreneurship is no joke, lots of work & effort behind the scenes.

& M. S. Curie has always inspired me. A hard worker by nature and the first and only woman to get two Nobel Prizes, which is a lot to say looking at the stats (5.3% in Physiology & Medicine; 4.1% in Chemistry and 1.8% in Physics, ridiculous right?)... Therefore, since I love drawing portraits and science, as an intersection between work and passion, and as a small tribute to her and all other fellow women in academia, I started (and almost finished) this drawing of Madame (Prof. Dr.) M. S. Curieโœจ
